MilitaryINSTALLATIONS is an online directory from Military OneSource that provides information about U.S. military bases worldwide, for every service branch. Use it to find overviews of local installation features, contacts for military and family support programs and services, maps and directions, check-in procedures and other important installation information.
Though it’s designed for service members and military families, anyone can use MilitaryINSTALLATIONS.
MilitaryINSTALLATIONS provides detailed, up-to-date contact information for programs and services, state resources, maps and directions, links to comprehensive location overviews and important information for military installations worldwide, including:
MilitaryINSTALLATIONS enables users to quickly learn the local features of the base and access the resources and services they need. You can also create a customized, downloadable booklet of useful information about an installation.
Each installation updates and verifies its page annually, in addition to conducting quarterly reviews. You can be confident you’re getting up-to-date and accurate information on MilitaryINSTALLATIONS.
On the MilitaryINSTALLATIONS homepage, select the “Military Installation” option. Choose the installation name from the dropdown menu and click “GO.” You can also click “VIEW ALL INSTALLATIONS” and scroll down to view a complete listing by state. Select the state to see all installations with pages.
If you cannot find your installation listed on MilitaryINSTALLATIONS, select the closest installation or visit your Military and Family Support Center for assistance. MilitaryINSTALLATIONS does not list State Department postings such as embassy or consulate assignments.

On the MilitaryINSTALLATIONS homepage, under the “Looking for state resources?” section, click the button to “View State Resources.” This will take you to a listing of all states. You can find contact information, links to general resources such as the Chamber of Commerce, as well as available programs and services in each state.
On the MilitaryINSTALLATIONS homepage, under “I’m looking for a…,” click the “Program or Service” selection choice. Then choose a program or service from the dropdown list provided. Once a program or service is selected, you can further narrow your search by selecting a location and clicking “GO.”
You can get more information about your installation from your local Military and Family Support Center. Find your Military and Family Support Center’s contact information by selecting “Program or Service” and locating “Military and Family Support Center” from the dropdown on the MilitaryINSTALLATIONS homepage. From there, you can choose to filter by either ZIP code, installation or state.
