When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
In-processing Instructions: Soldiers are to report directly to the 18th Replacement Company at 4-1437 Normandy Dr. You will have up to 5 days to in-process the installation, not including weekends or holidays. The uniform is OCPs with approved face covering. Limit all appointments while in-processing. Upon completing in-processing, you will ship to your unit. E-1 to E-6 Soldiers will wait at 18th RC until your gaining brigade S-1 delegate signs for you and takes you to the unit. E-7 and above Soldiers will report to your gaining S-1 on your own. across from the CYS facility, Tolson Youth Activity Center. Unaccompanied Sergeant and below are authorized a barracks room. Staff Sergeant and below are assigned a platoon to complete their in-processing
The Fort Liberty Reception Company is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, to assist newly assigned Soldiers and their families. The Fort Liberty Reception Company’s telephone number is 910-396-4250, DSN 312-236-4250.
All soldiers signed into the Reception Company will receive an in-processing brief and packet to assist them with in-processing into installation activities and agencies. Soldiers are allotted five duty days to complete the in-processing checklist and sign out from the reception company.
Soldiers being assigned to Student Detachment/Medical hold at Womack Army Medical Center will sign in to WAMC located off the All American Expressway.
Soldiers arriving at Fort Liberty in a training status will report to the assigned student brigade.
Questions concerning in-processing, leave extensions, or Permissive Temporary Duty orders should be directed to the Replacement Company 910-396-4250.
After signing into Fort Liberty Reception Company all officers must report to the Officer Management Division located at the Soldier Support Center, 2nd Floor, Wing A, to in-process and verify orders. Chaplain’s need to report to the Installation Chaplain’s Office, Building 1-2336, located on Hamilton St. to receive their assignment memorandum prior to in-processing OMD.
SSG and above and Soldiers accompanied by their family can make temporary housing arrangements before they report. The on post reservation office is located at Moon Hall 910-396-7700 or the Landmark Inn 910-495-1215.
Transportation:From Fayetteville Airport, Soldiers can request a taxi or ride sharing service (Uber, Lyft, etc.) to 18th RC. Most of the airport taxis DO NOT accept credit cards, so you will need to be prepared to pay with cash. The average cost for a one-way taxi trip is $30. Remember to keep your receipts for finance. There is also a courtesy phone at the Fayetteville Airport to call the 18th RC staff duty desk (910-396-4250) for questions. The Postal Service is classified as an essential government service operation, which allows them to continue operations. Customers will be asked to limit the Post Office lobby to no more than 10 people at a time, and keep a minimum of six feet between yourself and others. USPS will conduct all passport application services by appointment only.
18th Airborne Corps Replacement Company :: Fort Liberty (army.mil)

Soldiers must bring a complete copy of their orders and any amendments bringing them to Fort Liberty, and their Department of the Army Form 31, Request and Authority for Leave Form, to sign-in. Medical and dental records, finance receipts and paperwork, original marriage certificate if married, as well as proper military uniform are required to complete in-processing.
Air: The Fayetteville Regional Airport (400 Airport Road, Suite 1, Fayetteville, NC 28306) is serviced by two main airlines: US Airways Express, with daily service to its Charlotte, N.C. hub, and Delta Air Lines, with daily service to its Atlanta hub. Bus: Fayetteville Area System of Transit is the City of Fayetteville's public transportation system. FAST operates a fleet of 27 fixed-route buses on 19 routes to provide service Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM. In addition, 18 FASTTRAC! vehicles provide paratransit service to customers with disabilities that are unable to use the fixed-route system. See FASTTRAC!
