A wide range of programs are available for youth and teens, including youth sports and recreation programs, educational programs and programs that support leadership and career development. Please review the information to learn what programs and services are available at this installation.
All registrations for the instructional programs are completed through the Parent Central Services office. Instructional programs are offered to all children that are dependents of active duty, retired military, DOD civilian, reserve Soldiers and DoD contractors.
Instructional Classes
CYS offers a great variety of sports and classes. Team sports include soccer, t-ball, baseball, football, basketball, track and field, wrestling, cheerleading and more. Individual sports, clinics and camps are available throughout the year. Instructional Programs include tumbling, Zumba, Ta Kwon Do, Functional Fitness, Drama Kids and more. The Youth Center's goal is to provide a safe, healthy environment with programs that promote the well-being of youth. We strive to assist the youth in acquiring the knowledge, skills and character that will enable them to become independent, productive, and contributing members of society. We enable service men and women, and civilians to focus on the Military Mission by providing programs and services that create a sense of family and well-being.
Youth must be in grades 6th thru 12th and registered with Parent Central Services. Youth Center members must be prepared to sign-in and sign-out and present their CYS ID cards in order to access the Middle School & Teen Center, check out game equipment, and participate in special activities (field trips, dances). Youth members also have access to a lounge area, open recreation activities, sports, arts and crafts, community services projects, homework center and technology lab.

Youth Services is an affiliate member of Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Youth Services also offers 4-H Programs. Parent volunteer opportunities are available and encouraged in all areas of programming.

The Youth Sports and Fitness program offers year-round team and individual sports for family members ages 6 to 18. Team sports are offered in soccer, t- ball, football, baseball, basketball and cheerleading. Developmental sports are offered for children ages 3 to 5. The Fort Moore CYS Wrestling Program is open for boys and girls ages 4-14 (all experience levels welcome). The team and head coach are sanctioned by USA Wrestling, the national sanctioning body for amateur wrestling and Team Georgia Wrestling. Our team is a traveling team and a large part of our competitions are on Saturdays which mostly consist of open tournaments across the state of Georgia.
