Youth Sponsorship Program
The Youth Center offers a Youth Sponsorship Program. The Youth Sponsorship Program links incoming youth with an age appropriate youth living at Fort Rucker in order to make the transition here easier. Youth communicate with their sponsor prior to arrival about schools, sports, recreational activities and what is available at Fort Rucker. This program provides teens with a peer that may have a better understanding of their concerns and feelings about moving to a new community. To request a Teen Sponsor, contact the Youth Center at 334-255-2260 or DSN 312-558-2260.
Fort Rucker offers Youth Retreats, Youth Councils, bible studies and community service projects for all youth on the installation. There are two youth programs at the Spiritual Life Center; Protestant Youth of the Chapel and Catholic Youth of the Chapel. For more information about these religious programs, you may call 334-255-1930.
