With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
Temporary lodging is the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites located very close to the installation within the housing area. All rooms are either two or three bedroom, fully-furnished apartments with a refrigerator, gas-top range, microwave/convection oven, pots, pans and table setting for six. Irons (220 volts) and ironing boards are also available in each apartment; each apartment complex has laundry facilities. There are currently four rooms available that allow pets. Please ask for these rooms specifically if you are bringing a pet. Also, note you may want to book a ground floor room if this is a permanent change of station move as there are no elevators in any of the buildings. Your sponsor can arrange lodging for you and your family, or you can make reservations at 011-65-6752-8245, DSN 315-421-8245, or by visiting the Department of Defense Lodging website.
