There are two base locations. Base Galveston command and all departments except Electronics Support Department and HSWL are on Galveston Island. Those two departments are located in the Sector Houston/Galveston building at Ellington Field, 13411 Hillard St. Houston, TX 77034.
Base Galveston serves as a DCMS touch point for the support of Coast Guard operations within the Coast Guard Heartland District, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our operational partners to ensure the delivery of professional, responsive and cost-effective services to the American public.
