TRICARE
Most soldiers and their families are enrolled in TRICARE Prime; some qualify for Prime Remote. We also have the U.S. Family Health Plan, John Hopkins Medicine. For further details, please see the section on health care.
Dental
Most families will need to enroll or update with United Concordia. Soldiers in TRICARE Prime use their Military Dental Treatment Facility unless they are referred to a civilian dentist by a DTF; soldiers in Prime Remote use civilian dentists. For further details, see the Dental section.
The family member dental program is different from active-duty dental.

The battalion is responsible for Army recruiting activities that span more than 18,500 square miles throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, West Virginia and Delaware, and has one of the largest assigned missions within the entire U.S. Army Recruiting Command.
Three hundred and forty-two recruiters spread throughout six recruiting companies and 41 recruiting stations work tirelessly to resource the “Greatest Army in the World” with the next generation of Army Strong men and women who have voluntarily chosen to bear the burden of protecting and defending our great nation, her citizens and their freedoms.
The recruiters are supported every step of the way by a staff of 45 military and civilian personnel in the Battalion Headquarters and Baltimore Military Entrance Processing Station, both located on Fort George G. Meade in Maryland.
Three Army Superior Unit streamers are proudly attached to our battalion colors. These streamers were awarded for exceeding the assigned recruiting mission for both regular Army and U.S. Army Reserve in 1994, 1995 and 2001, and reflect great credit upon the soldiers and civilians within our organization.
Welcome to the Baltimore Recruiting Battalion. The Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., area (nicknamed the DMV) has much to see and do. We have all four seasons here, although they may vary from other locations where you have lived.
