With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.
The Navy Gateway Inns and Suites Singapore located close to the installation within the housing area is the primary temporary lodging facility at Naval Support Activity Singapore.
The standard suite consists of a three-bedroom apartment that sleeps up to five people. Each suite has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave oven, cooking stovetop, cutlery, dishware, pots and pans. Laundry facilities are available although guests need to provide their own detergent. Suites include cable television, access to Armed Forces Network Pacific, complimentary Wi-Fi connection and are pet friendly.
Note that you may want to book a ground floor room if this is a permanent change of station move as there are no elevators in any of the buildings.
