Policies and rules for shipping pets vary at each installation. It’s important to understand the regulations, prohibitions and laws at your new installation before moving with a pet. Below, you’ll find installation-specific details for registering, boarding and transporting your pet.

Planning ahead for the relocation of your pet is essential, especially if you will not be living near an installation. Planning for shipment of your pet includes researching airline requirements and quarantine restriction laws in your new location. The Pet Care Center on Fort Meade offer a full range of pet care services to include boarding, Daycare. Contact the Pet Care Center at 301-677-4059. All pets must be registered within first 10 days of arrival on post.
