Health care services provided by the Defense Department are available to you and your family at your installation. We know that finding the right health care is important, especially in special circumstances such as emergency or during recent move. Here, you’ll find information and options about the services you have regarding healthcare.
Soldiers assigned to Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion may be in Tricare East (those in Michigan) or Tricare West (those is Wisconsin & Illinois).
Once you have your new address, ensure DEERS is updated and contact Tricare to enroll in the applicable region and for assistance with locating/being assigned a provider.
Assigned soldiers will fall under TRICARE Prime Remote, and families will have the choice to be covered under TRICARE Prime Remote or TRICARE Select.
It is very important that you sign up for medical coverage within 90 days of arrival to eliminate any issues or incurred costs should medical assistance be required.
