Most school districts offer counseling services with professionals who are committed to serving the often unique needs of their military child population. Additionally, Child Youth and School Services (CYSS) School Liaison Officer Program is available to all branches of military service. School Liaison Officers are professionals who understand military life and are dedicated to assisting service members to ensure child/children's educational needs are met.
If you live near an army installation, post secondary or continuing education services are provided through the ACES (Army Continuing Education Services) Program at the Army Education Center. Other branches of service provide similar programs and services. Additional information on continuing education for Soldiers is available at: www.goarmyed.com. Continuing education information for Family members is available at the Military OneSource Spouse Education and Career Opportunities website.
