Check-in Procedures Overview

 When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently.  Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.

Service Members will report to BN HQs, escorted by Company assigned sponsor, on the Tuesday or Thursday following the report date designated on their PCS orders. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR COMPANY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSITANT SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME IN THE BATTALION SHARE POINT (Appointments must be approved 48 hours in advance). This will ensure that the Battalion Staff is prepared to fully in process you upon your arrival.

  • Absence Request (Must be Leave in Conjunction w/ PCS)
  • Local Form 1R
  • Local Form 9R
  • Local Form 25R
  • DA Form 647-1
  • Integration Checklist UF 350-1.4
  • GTC SOU
  • DTS Profile - Been released from previous unit DTS (YES/ NO button)
  • DTS 101 Certificate
  • Programs & Policies – Travel Card Program (Travel Card 101)
  • DD Form 2875 signed by supervisor, S6 and S2 (Officers Only) – this will not be required but should be listed
  • TLA/TLE (if applicable) – this will not be required but should be listed

After this initial report to BN HQs, SMs will be allowed to depart for their PTDY for 10 days.
