Integrating into Our Community and Schools
Owning Our Mission and Winning Every Phase Line
Telling Our Army Story to Build Propensity and Support
Setting and Meeting Our Recruiting Objectives
There are a few military installations in our Battalion footprint, but no full-service Army Posts. You will find great information for these installations in this site under Military Installations, or with the link to this site at the bottom of the www.militaryonesource.mil:
Almost all of Maine Company and New Hampshire Company are considered remote, as well as small portions of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In these areas you will be enrolled in Tricare Prime Remote unless Families (only) wish to enroll in USFHP – please see the TRICARE notes below.
Most living expenses are considered high, especially around Boston; parts of Maine and New Hampshire are lower but still may be more than average. New England is beautiful, with tremendous opportunities for hobbies, learning, outdoors, shopping. If you have never lived here, take advantage of the many and varied offerings.
TRICARE: Most Soldiers and families are in Tricare Prime, and some qualify for Prime Remote. We also have US Family Health Plan, Martin’s Point in Maine and New Hampshire, and Brighton Marine in Massachusetts, available to family members. For further details, please see the section on Healthcare.
Dental: Most families will enroll in, or update in, "Tricare Family Dental" contracted to United Concordia, which is an optional coverage. "Tricare Family Dental" is a different program than the active duty service member dental program, which is also contracted to United Concordia (UCCI).
