Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Individuals living on the local economy may qualify to be supplied by the housing office with appliances (oven/stove, refrigerator, freezer, electrical transformer, washer and dryer, microwave) to be used for the entire length of their tour. Single service members who have not shipped personal items can be loaned furniture (beds, nightstands, dressers, a sofa, armchairs, end tables, lamps, a coffee table, a dining table and dining chairs) for the length of their tour. Others may borrow these furniture items for up to 90 days until household goods arrive.
The Fleet and Family Support Center has a Lending Locker with kitchen essentials, including pots and pans, dishes and utensils. These items can be borrowed for up to 90 days or until the express shipment arrives, whichever comes first.
Incoming personnel attend both a check-in brief and a weeklong orientation class, which provides information on command services, policies and Greek culture and customs, as well as a tour of the local community.
