Temporary Housing Overview

With certain military moves, you may find yourself looking for housing that’s a little less permanent before making long-term arrangements. There are several temporary housing options that may be right for you. Explore the information about temporary housing facilities including allowances, lodging rates and eligibility.

There is a great demand for lodging at Pope Army Airfield, so you should make reservations for temporary lodging as soon as you receive orders, by calling 910-396-7700 or DSN 236-7700.

While inbound personnel have priority for reservations, it would benefit any newcomer to contact the Lodging Office in Moon Hall, Building D-3601, to make reservations as soon as they know their arrival date. Moon Hall is located on Fort Bragg at Darby Loop, off Bastogne Drive.

The Carolina Inn is now managed by Fort Bragg. For information or reservations, call 910-396-7700.

When space is not available, the installation Lodging Office will provide information on where additional space (contract quarters) with good rates may be available.

There is a great demand for lodging at Pope Army Airfield. Pets

Pets are now allowed at the Carolina Inn. You can call to reserve a "pet-friendly" TLF but please be aware that these are limited TLFs. There will be an additional fee of $10.00 per night if you choose to use these TLFs.

Availability/Costs

Varied rates due to privatization. Rooms charges are also taxed.
