The Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion has several families enrolled in TRICARE Prime Remote.
It is very important that you update your EFMP before you PCS, to ensure you are assigned to an area where required services and education will be available. Contact the Soldier and Family Assistance Program Manager at 717-614-2203 for information.
Household Goods
Our supporting Military Transportation Office provides coordination for incoming household goods and unaccompanied baggage to the battalion area. Contact Transportation at the Carlisle Barracks at 717-245-4381/4382 when you arrive to let them know you’re in and what your immediate plans are. Provide them with a permanent address as soon as possible. Claims for damaged goods can be made through the servicing office but must be initiated within 70 days of arrival.
