MISSION:
United States Army Garrison Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) and Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PRFTA) are one garrison located on two installations that provide complimentary training capabilities in support of America’s Army Reserve and other DOD partners. USAG FHL is the pinnacle place to live, work and train. It provides critical base support that enables our Commanders to build mission readiness and provides an enhanced quality of life that our Service members, Families and Civilian employees deserve.
Our support is provided in several different ways:
Training - We must provide ranges, training areas and maneuver spaces that are well kept and support current and future weapons systems and platforms.
Training Support - We have a streamlined, user friendly, customer focused atmosphere that allows our training partners to quickly deploy, conduct Reception and Integration, execute the training they planned and then quickly redeploy to home station.
Base Operations - We take care of our tenants that live and work on our installations by affording them the very best housing, facilities and installation support activities.
Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PRFTA) is located in Dublin, California. The Quad-City area of Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and San Ramon is a high cost of living area with homes and rents significantly higher than the national average. Service members are highly encouraged to visit their local Army Community Service, Airmen & Family Readiness Center, or Fleet and Family Support and speak with a Personal Financial Readiness Counselor to develop a realistic budget plan to prepare for the PCS and relocation expenses. Stop by the Military Housing office on PRFTA in Bldg. 312 and speak to one of the housing representatives for assistance and recommendations.
For additional information/resources contact PRFTA ACS at Desk #: 520-684-9918 OR 925-875-4351/4388 Cell #: 831-535-3424.
