On Post -- The Camp Parks military housing project was established in 2005 and was made possible through the Army's. Please contact The Villages at Camp Parks at (925) 556-2250 or additional information on the application process. Military members seeking off-post accommodations are required to check in with the Housing Management Office (HMO). The HMO can assist with finding off base accommodations that will fit your needs and provide insight on local resources available to offset the high cost of rents in the area, call 925-875-4688/4690 to make an appointment.
Off Post -- The median rent for studio through four bedroom apartments for the period June through September 2018 was $3,702.50. The median buying price for the same sizes, and during the same period, was $860,000.00. The city of Dublin has an occupancy rate of 96% and the rental market is highly competitive and expensive. Service members and civilians should be significantly financially prepared to cover the initial security deposits and rent. Personnel typically need over 10K to establish their home in the area. Additional pet deposits are required and some rentals may increase rent for those with pets.
Commuting to PRFTA is the norm for the majority of personnel assigned and as one of the most heavily congested traffic areas, travel time, cost of fuel, and car maintenance should be included when budgeting for your relocation.
