The American Red Cross offers a variety of services to military personnel and their family members.
Emergency Communication : The American Red Cross delivers verified messages to deployed service members during emergencies at home.
Financial Assistance: The American Red Cross works in partnership with military aid societies to provide quality, reliable financial assistance to eligible applicants 24/7/365.
Information Referral Services: The American Red Cross offers confidential services to all members of the military, veterans, and their families by connecting them with local, state and national resources.
Deployment Services: The American Red Cross has developed workshops, information and support services to help you with the practical and emotional challenges of deployment.

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) provides aid to active and retired Navy and Marine Corps service members, their families, and survivors in time of need.
Categories of financial assistance include basic living expenses (food, shelter, utilities), medical and dental not covered by insurance, funeral expenses, emergency transportation, essential car repairs, pay and allotment problems, disasters and assistance for widows, mothers, and children. NAWS China Lake also houses a uniform locker which is beautifully stocked with various donated uniform items. Donations and volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.
