When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Getting on the Road with the EZpass Group - many of the expressways in the Albany Recruiting Battalion have recently transitioned to a "Tolls By Mail" system. If you do not have an EZ-Pass account/tag, the over-head cameras will take photos of your license plate for processing. A Toll Bill(s) will be sent to the registered owner of the vehicle, using either the address provided by the relevant DMV or an address obtained from the USPS National Change of Address (NCOA) database.

Upon notification from the Army Recruiting School that you have been selected for assignment to Albany New York Recruiting Battalion, contact the Battalion S-1 to determine your pinpoint duty assignment. PCS orders for all inbound new recruiters will assign you to the Albany Battalion only. Albany Battalion covers four states and Europe. Contact the Battalion S-1 section to have your orders endorsed to include your specific recruiting station. This will allow you to make transportation arrangements to your pinpoint assignment as well as determine options for housing and TRICARE Insurance Plan options.
