When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
During normal working hours (7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday) those assigned to MARFORCOM (MCC 111) should report to G-1 Manpower (room 118) on the first deck of MARFORCOM (bldg NH-33). After working hours, on weekends and holidays, report to the Command Operations Center (COC) (room 237) on the second deck of MARFORCOM. As you will not have access to MARFORCOM upon your arrival you will need to call either your sponsor at the work number they provided you or the G-1 Manpower Office during normal working hours or the COC after hours, on weekends or holidays at 757-836-1644, utilizing one of the phones immediately inside the entrances to MARFORCOM.
Those Marines assigned to other commands throughout the Hampton Roads area who are administratively attached to MARFORCOM Headquarters and Service Battalion should check-in at your work location during normal working hours or with the Watch or Duty Officer of the command to which you are assigned to have your orders endorsed with the reporting time and date. On the first working day following your arrival you should report to the MARFORCOM Headquarters and Service Battalion S-1 to complete your administrative check-in. Visit our website for more information.
