When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
You will report to MARFORCOM, HQ & SVC BN, IPAC, for your reporting endorsement, at 7970 Diven Arch, Norfolk VA., 23505 during normal working hours (0800-1530). The BN is located behind the gate at Camp Elmore. In case of an emergency, after hours, or on weekends the officer of the day can be reached at DSN 836-1644 or commercial (757) 836-1644. OOD will log time of arrival and date in the duty log book. You will then report to HQ & SVC BN, IPAC on the following business day to receive official reporting endorsement, complete audit and travel claim.

Students attending resident courses should report in the uniform of the day. Upon arrival, you should:
Park behind the building on 5th Street
Report to your respective classrooms; if location is unknown, please check the wall of knowledge or one of the monitors in the passageways or within the quarterdeck

Marine Aviation Training Support Detachment
MATSD Oceana does not have a DNCO or SDO. Therefore, all inbound Marines are directed to contact the MATSD Oceana S-1 at (757) 433-3822 or DSN 433-3822 during normal working hours upon arrival to NAS Oceana. If after normal working hours, during a weekend or holiday, contact the MATSD Oceana Duty Cell phone at (757) 651-5085 and notify the Marine who answers the phone of your rank, name, and SSN.
