Welcome to the 5th Medical Recruiting Battalion. This guide provides essential information to ensure your transition is seamless and successful. Your assignment here will be both professionally challenging and personally rewarding. Our mission is critical to the Army's overall readiness and we are confident that your contributions will be vital to the well-being of our soldiers, civilians and their families. We look forward to your arrival and are pleased to have you join our team.
Upon receipt of your permanent change of station orders, please expect to be contacted by your assigned sponsor immediately. Your sponsor is your dedicated point of contact. They will provide local transportation and guide you through the in-processing timeline, assist with scheduling all necessary appointments and introduce you to your chain of command and colleagues.

All personnel are required to complete the following actions and submit the necessary documentation to the Company Administrative Team. A star (*) denotes required within 24 to 48 hours of arrival
Upon arrival, soldiers must submit their own finance in-processing documents to the DMPO through MyPay, to include DA Form 5960. Make sure to attach DA Form 5960 and PCS orders when completing travel voucher.
Soldiers need to notify the Soldier and Family Assistance Program Manager so they can complete their TRICARE and Safety Brief. Call 210-338-3482 within 24 hours.
