It’s likely that employment will change when a move occurs, especially for military spouses. Employment assistance information and resources are available for military spouses through SpouseWorks (formerly SECO) and the Military Spouse Employer Partnership.
Spouses always face the challenge of finding employment at their new duty station, the Soldier and Family Assistance program manager or your local installation can help with various services such as job search, resume writing and interviewing skills.
There are also several programs that assist military spouses in their search for employment. These agencies work with employers that are military spouse friendly. Don’t forget to contact your losing state to file for unemployment if you were working at your last duty station.
