Most military installations have legal assistance offices where military identification card holders may obtain the following free services:

• Tax return preparation
• Preparation of wills
• Review of legal documents such as contracts and leases (not related to private income businesses)
• Preparation of powers of attorney
• Advice or assistance with most personal legal matters to include
  • Personal credit
  • Auto accidents
  • Consumer complaints
  • Repossessions
  • Life insurance
  • Contractual agreements

Motor vehicle registration: Information on insurance, driver's licensure and vehicle registration is available via the state’s Department of Motor Vehicle website.
