When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
All personnel reporting to Camp Lejeune must report to the Joseph Randy Reichler Reception Center, Molly Pitcher Road, Buildings 59 and 60. Because each unit has a different procedure for processing its personnel, no specific information can be given as to the actual procedures. Ensure you bring with you your orders and report in the service "A" uniform. Make sure your orders are endorsed with the date and time of arrival. It is also a good idea to bring your travel log to help when filling out your travel claim.
Personnel who arrive on the weekend or a holiday should have original orders endorsed by the duty officer located in the Joseph Randy Reichler Reception Center, Building 59, Room 212, Molly Pitcher Road, 910-451-8609.
All military members are required to attend a mandatory Marine Corps Base Commander's Welcome Aboard brief upon check-in. Spouses are encouraged to attend. Briefs are currently being held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. in Bldg. 59 Molly Pitcher Rd, Room 204 (2nd deck).
If you plan to take leave immediately upon arrival, it is important that you check into the command first.

Inns of the Corps is open 24 hours per day, year-round. Room rates start at $96 to $132 per day, a non-refundable pet fee required on a limited and room-dependent basis. PCS reservations may be made one year in advance, Temporary additional duty/ temporary duty travel 90 days in advance. All other space available 30 days prior to arrival date. Command sponsorship is defined as family members are authorized to be with the member while at that command. Several locations aboard Camp Lejeune are non-command sponsored. Those locations are all military combat training and military occupational school producing training locations. Should the member travel with dependents to those locations, financial hardships are imminent since dependent travel and dislocation allowance are not paid until arrival to the first permanent duty station.
If you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures.
If you get married between duty stations, inform the Installation Personnel Administration Center inbound section with all required documentation to add dependents for inclusions to pay and to be eligible for family housing.
First, if there is a military ID card/Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System office near you, go to the DEERS office (you may have to make an appointment) with appropriate documents to enroll your new spouse and have a dependent ID issued. To find a local office and to make appointments go to: https://idco.dmco.osd.mil/idco/. Then you can call TRICARE at 800-444-5445 to add your spouse to your medical coverage plan.
