Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
A Welcome to Camp Lejeune brief is conducted monthly/quarterly at the Lejeune Base Theater and the MCAS New River Theater. The brief is required of all personnel reporting to Lejeune - New River. Visit the Information, Relocation & Referral office located at Bldg. 780 Brewster Blvd. Electronic Welcome Aboard packages are available upon request.
Inquire about the use of the Loan Locker, in Building 84, which provides basic household goods during permanent changes of station for transitioning families. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 910-451-7908 for assistance.
Installation-Specific Information

You can get up-to-date information about your new base and community before you move, learn how to prepare for your move, get help in planning your moving costs, check out the job market and learn new skills to reduce the stress of moving.
Relocation Assistance Program
This program is available to active-duty military personnel, their family members and military retirees. The program manager can provide the relocation information you need when you need it. If departing from Camp Lejeune (or MCAS New River), register asap for our ‘Smooth Move’ PCS Workshop hosted virtually via Adobe Connect.

Our School Liaison Officers provide relocation assistance for children, youth, and teens.
The Loan Locker
The loan locker program is designed to provide the basic essentials for service members waiting on delivery of their household goods. The Loan Locker is a FREE service for 30 days. Items include, but are not limited to, utensils, cookware, baby/infant items, bakeware, and general household items. Call 910-451-7908 for availability.
Information and Referral
Provides relocation activities to active-duty military personnel, their family members and military retirees as well as providing the relocation information you need when you need it. If departing from Camp Lejeune, sign up for your relocation planning session as soon as you know you will be moving. Call 910-451-4101 or stop by the IR&R Program Manager's office at Bldg. 780 Brewster Blvd. Register for our ‘Smooth Move’ PCS Workshop through our events calendar. We provide numerous workshops on moving throughout the year. These workshops are designed to help you make a smooth transition from one installation to another – or back to the civilian sector.
Sponsorship Training
The sponsorship program has been established to ensure a sponsor is assigned to assist transferring service members and family members prior to and after arrival at their new duty station. Personnel executing PCS orders in the grades of E-1 through E-5, WO-1 through CWO-2, O-1 through O-3 and all overseas accompanied personnel will be assigned a sponsor.
Welcome Aboard information is available on our website to assist you prior arrival. Once you arrive, you will be provided with basic information during your visit to the Joint Reception Center as part of the reporting into the base process.
