Health care services provided by the War Department are available to you and your family at your installation. We know that finding the right health care is important, especially in special circumstances such as emergency or during recent move. Here, you’ll find information and options about the services you have regarding healthcare.
Branch Health Clinic Sasebo provides eligible beneficiaries primary care and dental care services. Routine primary care appointments are available for active duty and active-duty family members. Retirees, retiree family members and Department of War civilians may utilize these services on a space-available basis. Please contact the Branch Health Clinic for further information. All new arrivals must check in with the TRICARE Desk at the BHC within 48 hours of arrival to update their enrollment to the Sasebo region.
Pay patients will be required to send the Uniform Billing Office their insurance information. The UBO will file a claim for pay patients. The Uniform Billing Office in Yokosuka will be able to answer all billing questions. All pay patients are seen on a space-available basis and are not assigned a primary care manager.

All families with special needs must coordinate with the Sasebo EFMP Coordinator located at the Branch Health Clinic prior to arrival to ensure local Japanese medial facilities can support their specific requirements.
