Potential residents are required to sign a lease and start an allotment for Basic Allowance for Housing. Rent is determined solely on BAH and is collected on the first of each month by Fort Gregg-Adams Family Housing. Rent is paid in arrears, meaning soldiers will pay the previous month’s rent at the first of the current month. Residents should monitor their Leave and Earnings Statement and make sure the allotment has been initiated. Residents are responsible for making sure their rent is paid. Late fees can be imposed by Hunt Companies.
The Fort Gregg-Adams Family Housing Referral Program lets residents choose their neighbor when they bring in the Referral Program card.
If the service member is not available to sign the lease, the spouse must have a signed copy of a special power of attorney. The SPOA is different from a general power of attorney and is the only one accepted for leasing. Residents should provide a copy of their LES for the current month. Also accepted is documentation of their date of rank. Residents need to complete a Resident Contact Sheet.
