When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
The Military Personnel Division Soldier Readiness In-and Out-processing is located in Rockenbach Hall, Building 2020, 159 Black Horse Regiment Road, Room 130. Hours of operation for In- and Out-processing are 0730-1600 Monday through Thursday, and 0830-1600 on Friday. The office is closed on weekends, Federal holidays and all Garrison training holidays. IAW FKR 600-8-101, all Soldiers will complete in- and out-processing in duty uniform. If you have a sponsor, contact him/her and let him/her know when you are arriving. This will be especially helpful if you need transportation.
All Soldiers assigned, attached, or with duty to Fort Knox for 30 days or more, including RC Soldiers on a contingency or operational support mission report to Rockenbach Hall, Building 2020, 159 Black Horse Regiment Road, Room 130 to complete installation in-processing. If the Soldier is on PTDY, they should report to their unit prior to reporting to Processing Control Station (PROC CS).
