If you’ve ever considered taking your education a step further, you should look to your installation for more information and assistance. They can help you decide if receiving an advanced degree is right for you, tell you which local colleges and classes are offered and find out if you’re eligible for tuition assistance. The Voluntary Education Center, or Installation Education Center, is available to help you put together a plan to advance your education.
Military spouses can also choose to engage with an education and career coach through the DoD’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, or SECO. These coaches can assist them in exploring multiple tools, resources and information to reach their educational goals. Fort Knox Education Center
There are five colleges/university branches offering associates, bachelors or master degrees, which host a satelite campus here on post. All programs in the area accept GI/Veterans benefits and Pell Grant/Student Loan Programs. Most consider Soldiers and Family members eligible for in-state tuition. Tuition assistance for soldiers can be arranged through the Education Center.

The Army Continuing Education System, Directorate of Human Resources, provides a wide range of academic and nonacademic educational opportunities as well as training opportunities to members of the Fort Knox community. ACES offers academic programs from basic skills to post-graduate programs to support the educational goals of everyone in the community. Counseling services are available for programs such as Tuition Assistance, Credentialing Assistance, and VA education benefits. Soldiers can use training programs/materials through the Army Learning Center to enhance MOS skills, and they can prep to raise their GT score through BSEP or OASC. Testing services are available for Army Personnel Testing and at the National Testing Center. Read the Programs and Services section for detailed information on how we can assist you.
