When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
Permanent PartyDuring duty hours, 0730-1600, Monday through Friday, all incoming permanent party Soldiers will report to the Soldier Service Center, Military Personnel Division, Building 5700, Room 280, to sign-in. Soldiers will need PCS orders and DA Form 31 (Leave Form). Soldiers may contact the Military Personnel Division at 334-255-1814/2869.
Soldiers reporting after duty hours, on weekends, or holidays, will report to building 101, Fort Rucker IOC, 334-255-3100. On the first duty day after arrival, Soldiers will report to building 5700, Room 280, to formally in-process at 0730. Soldiers must be in duty uniform to in-process. For additional information, Sponsorship Program information, requesting a leave extension, or reporting a change in your arrival date, contact the Military Personnel Division, Bldg 5700, Room 280, during duty hours at 334-255-1814/2869 or DSN 312-558-1814/2869.
Flight/Captain's Career Course Students
All Flight and Captain's Career Course Students reporting to Fort Rucker will report to building 5911 1-145th AVN REGT and sign in. Unit phone number is 334-255-9730. Students will report the next duty day to building 5700, Room 280, at 0730 to in-process the installation. Soldiers must have PCS orders with a 1/145th stamp and a signed leave form (DA Form 31). Students may contact the Military Personnel Division at 334-255-1814/2869 or DSN 312-558-1814/2869.
Warrant Officer Candidates (WOC)
All Warrant Officer Candidates will report to building 5910 during or after duty hours.
During hours all WOSC/WOSSC will report to building 5910.After duty hours, all WOSC/WOSSC will report to building 308, IHG Army Hotel, (334) 598-5216.
All AIT students will report to A Co, 1/13th Avn Regt, Building 6202, (334) 255-3491.
All ALC/SLC students will report to the NCO Academy, Building 4301.
All other students not listed above will report to the unit indicated on their orders.
Civilians arriving for work at Fort Rucker will report to the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center in building 5700, Room 280 for in processing.
Note: Military personnel on OFFICIAL TRAVEL ORDERS requiring transportation to Fort Rucker must take a Taxi. Soldiers need to obtain a receipt for filing with their travel voucher in order to receive reimbursement.
If you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if the proper procedures are not followed. You will need to work with your commander to get an "Amendment to Orders".
