If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
The Air Force Aid Society can be reached by contacting a representative at the Airman and Family Readiness Center on any Air Force installation. If there are no Air Force bases nearby, sister services can assist. All military services and the American Red Cross have reciprocal agreements with the Air Force Aid Society to help people in emergency situations.
The American Red Cross and the Air Force Aid Society are available for emergency aid. For assistance from the Red Cross, you can call 1-877-272-7337 at any time, day or night. They can help with emergency financial assistance and contacting people that will need to know where you are and what's happening.
Make sure you have all your important papers with you - not packed with your household goods. Write down contact phone numbers for your family and relatives, your sponsor, your gaining unit, orderly room, Commander, and the command post at Kunsan AB. The phone numbers will be invaluable in case of an emergency while traveling.
