A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good. This program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.
The Lending Locker Service is a free, NO COST service that provides basic household good items for temporary loan to all service members (single or with a family) awaiting to receive personal property shipment or after relinquishing quarters. Eligibility as follows:
An appointment is required and submitting a copy of PCS orders stating duty assignment must be shown. The Lending Locker is available on Mondays thru Fridays from 9am to 4pm. Appointments can be made at 808-257-7786. The Lending Locker does NOT have furniture or linens. Aloha furniture can be obtained through the housing office or your Hunt residential services officer (RSO). There is no service that offers linens so please prepare temp linens to use or purchase a cheap set at the MCX or a local retailer.
