When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
You will report to the duty location specified in your orders and should coordinate arrival with your sponsors and/or command leadership. Be sure to have your sponsor's and/or commander's contact number and stay in touch to inform them of any changes in your planned arrival. This is especially important if you are scheduled to arrive over a weekend or holiday as the unit's schedule may be altered. There are several forms you will complete and submit to the Battalion S1 on the day you report to your center. You must submit these forms to have your status changed to "arrived" and to be approved for any applicable permissive temporary duty travel. Upon receipt of these forms, the Battalion S1 will adjust your status. You will complete the remainder of in-processing at battalion headquarters within 30 days.
