If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.

Individuals that wish to file a restricted Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault complaint must call either the Domestic Violence victim Advocate line or the Sexual Assault Victim Advocate line. Contacting anyone other than the FAP/DV Victim Advocate or the SHARP Sexual Assault Victim Advocate will eliminate the restricted reporting option. Child Abuse/Neglect complains cannot be filed as restricted reports.

For incidents involving domestic violence or child abuse/neglect, the direct reporting number for law enforcement is 435-831-2929. To contact the Dugway Proving Ground Family Advocacy victim advocate please call 435-849-1238. This is a 24/7 contact number.
If you experience an emergency while in transit to your new duty station, always call your new command to tell them about the situation and request advice if needed. If possible, look for the nearest military installation for assistance. Call AAA if you are a member, or ask the local information operator (411) for the name and phone number of a hospital, or ask for road service information, depending on the emergency.
The American Red Cross office, through Army Emergency Relief, provides interest-free loans for emergency travel in conjunction with emergency leave orders (military personnel). Additional assistance may be provided to avoid privation and basic maintenance, including but not limited to food, shelter and clothing. Emergency communication is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 801-323-7000. Workers obtain health and welfare reports and provide short-term counseling and referrals as needed.
For active-duty soldiers, Army retirees, or veterans with medical disability, you may qualify for emergency assistance through the Army Emergency Relief program. ACS Staff will be available via telephone at 435-849-1238 Emergency 24/7 number or 435-831-2038 and 435-831-2260. ACS will still offer a full range of advisory and support services including information and referral, benefits and family support programs available to family members to include provision of and assistance in completing various government forms and applications on a 24-hour basis in case Mobilization, Repatriation and Disaster Preparedness.
