Loan Closet Overview

A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This  program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation. 

Subtopics

The Army Community Service Relocation Assistance Program provides household items for incoming personnel temporary until their household goods shipment arrives. Items available for check-out on a 30-day basis include:

  • Tables and chairs
  • Ironing boards and irons
  • Microwaves
  • Vacuums
  • Air mattresses and pumps
  • Slow cookers
  • Steam cleaners
  • Televisions with a DVD player
  • Dinner sets
  • Coffee makers
  • Toasters

Visit Army Community Service at Building 5124, Room 234, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., to check out items from the Loan Closet. Call the ACS at 435-831-2038 or DSN 312-789-2038.
