School Liaison Officers (SLO's) across the Army support families and students as they transition from one school system to another. SLO's are under Child & Youth Services. SLO's are eager to help parents with information on local or DoD schools including enrollment, transfer of records, and information on school academic standings. SLO's provide support to families throughout their service at a duty station by providing pertinent school information, staying current on local issues affecting students, and continuing to enhance partnerships and programs with other local area schools. SLO's are available to parents, school administrators, and students who may be experiencing academic issues or have school related concerns and questions.
