If you need emergency assistance, you can expect to get help from your installation, your branch of service resources. There are programs to support you in a variety of situations, including victim assistance, emergencies en route and service-specific relief societies. Below, you’ll find types of assistance, contact information, and detailed procedures and guidance to help you through any tough circumstances that you or your family may face.
If you are traveling with family members and experience minor medical problems, contact TRICARE information at 1-844-866-9378 to locate the nearest approved medical provider.For emergency medical situations, contact the nearest medical facility or call 911. Make sure you have a copy of your orders, leave papers, and your military ID card while traveling.
Emergency ContactsArmy Emergency Relief (AER) provides financial assistance for valid emergency needs. If you experience an emergency while in route to Fort Leonard Wood contact the nearest American Red Cross Office (1-877-272-7337) or the closest military installation's Family Assistance Center or aid society for assistance. You may also seek Army Emergency Relief assistance for moving expenses, such as, rent and security deposits when you arrive at Fort Leonard Wood.
