Loan Closet Overview

A loan closet is a program that allows service members, families and loved ones to borrow durable equipment or resources especially as they are awaiting their household good.  This  program varies by service so check out the below information to see what is offered at this installation.

Please note: we do not provide bed linens.

The Loan Closet is located at Mel Carnahan Army Community Service Center, Building 486. Our hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are generally open during the normal lunch hour 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Personnel on permanent change of station orders with family members to Fort Leonard Wood are authorized to check out items for 30 days. If your household items do not arrive within the 30 days we can provide an extension. The Loan Closet does not carry any linen or bulk furniture.
