Financial Assistance Overview

Resources are available to help you understand and manage your finances, including one-on-one financial counseling to assist you and your family with financial readiness. Services are designed to focus on money management issues throughout your active-duty lifecycle and into retirement.  Financial readiness educational opportunities range from basic planning to long-term investing. Check out the information below to see what’s available at your installation.

The Financial Readiness Office located at the Mel Carnahan Army Community Service Center, Building 486, has several programs to provide assistance to you. Financial counseling and planning, consumer information/advocacy, debt and checkbook management classes, money management and credit education counseling are all available.

The Army Emergency Relief office can also provide assistance with emergency financial assistance such as for car repairs, initial rent and deposits, emergency travel, etc. Contact the Financial Readiness Office if you have any questions or concerns at 573-596-0212 or 573-596-2078.
