Laughlin AFB is one wing with one mission: Build combat ready Airmen, leaders and pilots. Laughlin AFB trains pilots for the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard and allied nation air forces.
All inbound personnel (students, permanent party active duty and civilian employees) attend a Newcomers' Orientation. Newcomers' Orientation is every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month, 0715-1300 at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Bldg 362, Preregistration required. Family members are welcome and highly encouraged to attend.
