Laughlin AFB  Military and Family Support Center

The installation Personal and Work Life Consultant (P&WL) is located at the Airman and Family Readiness Center (520 Mitchell Blvd, Bldg 362) and provides resume writing workshops as well as one-on-one appointments to assist with job applications. In addition, the Discovery Resource Center, located inside the A&FRC, is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers computer access, local job information, a scanner, fax, and copier to aid in your employment search.

Additional employment resources include the following:

• USA Jobs: The Federal Government’s official employment site where you can find local Air Force civil service positions.
• Texas Workforce Commission: A statewide agency focused on providing workforce development services. There is a local office in Del Rio.  
• Military Spouse Employment Partnership Job Search: A program established by the Department of Defense to provide education and career guidance to military spouses.
• My Career Advancement Account: A workforce development program that provides financial assistance to military spouses to pursue/maintain licensure or certification for employment.
