Check-in Procedures

In-processing is done on an individual basis at Bldg 246, 427 Liberty Dr. Service members must bring all personnel, medical and financial records when in-processing.

• Military Personnel Customer Support Office: 830-298-5276, Building 246, Room 114
• Military Finance Office financial document in-processing is on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week at 0900, in Building 246.

Student pilots to include Reserve, Guard and foreign exchange student pilots will bring in-processing documents to the 47th Student Squadron Transition Office prior to in-processing with the Military Personnel Flight.

The main gate to Laughlin AFB is the WEST gate. This is where all entry traffic is directed, and also where the Visitor Control Center is located. The North gate is only operational for exit traffic in the afternoon on Monday through Friday, and in the event of a West gate closure.

There is currently no commercial airline service to Del Rio, TX.  The nearest airports to Laughlin AFB are San Antonio International (SAT) and Austin-Bergstrom (AUS).

After-hours accommodations are at the Laughlin Manor Air Force Inn, Building 454 located at 4th and Arnold Streets. Reservations can be made once a date of arrival is determined.
