One of the Navy's first PPV housing complexes and the nation's first on base charter school make New Orleans one of the finest duty stations in the world. With 525 new townhouses, 216 previously constructed town homes and flats, NONH has two, three and four bedroom units to fit every family size. New Orleans Navy Housing is situated on Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse comprised of 736 town homes, and The Village At Federal City (formerly Naval Support Activity) comprised of 200 town homes, flats, and single family homes.  Located in New Orleans along side of the Mississippi River, southern charm and hospitality greet you everywhere.  New Orleans Navy Housing is a special place for special people.

Permanent Party Residents

Anyone who is on Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders to NAS JRB New Orleans should check in at Bldg 562 with a copy of their current orders. E1-E4 personnel are housed on a permanent basis and are provide the following: a furnished private bedroom that has a shared bathroom and kitchen with one other E1-E4 member; mailbox, cable television and high speed internet services are available; bicycle storage, luggage storage and laundry facilities are also available.

E5 and above personnel are not housed at Combined Bachelor Housing on a permanent basis. If available, reservations can be made for transitioning E5 and above personnel in Transient Quarters. These will be offered for a maximum of 30 days, depending on availability, at the regular room rates. Navy Gateway Inns and Suites 
Anyone traveling on Navy Funded TAD/TDY Orders should make their reservation through the SATO reservation desk at 1-800-576-9327. Anyone traveling on any other type of orders should contact NGIS front desk at 504-678-3419 opt 0 or Central Reservations 1-877-628-9233. Military (active or retired) members who are space available or leisure travelers can make reservations 30 days prior to their arrival date, if rooms are available. Anyone needing to block 10 or more rooms, contact NGIS Group Coordinator Patrice Perkins at 504-678-3840 or patrice.wills@navy.mil.

• Standard Suite    - $96.00 per night
• Standard Queen -  $86.00 per night
• Standard Pet Friendly room - $96.00 per night plus $20.00 pet fee (2 pet maximum)

NGIS transient rooms include the following amenities: cable television, telephone service with wakeup, voicemail and Internet capabilities; iron and ironing board; alarm clock; microwave and mini refrigerator. All suites have kitchenette. Laundry facilities are located in most buildings. Business Center with Internet capabilities are located in building 40, next to lobby. Common lounges with cable television and laundry, snack and beverage vending machines are located in two building, 40 and 465 (front desk).
