When you arrive at your new installation, you’ll need to follow installation-specific procedures. Each installation and service handles in-processing differently. Here, you can find installation-specific guidelines and a list of documents to bring with you when checking- in. Reach out to the contacts provided if you have specific questions.
Staff and Student Pilots After Hours Reporting
Naval Air Station staff may contact the Naval Air Station command duty officer at 601-695-7055 for after-hours reporting to stop leave charging. Student pilots reporting after hours should contact the CTW-1 officer of the watch 601-679-2487 or 601-679-2321, but must report to the command pass liaison representative during normal working hours to complete processing. Go to the administrative department of the command to which you are reporting. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Enlisted Students
All enlisted students will report to the Navy Training Command Quarterdeck, Building 360 and can be reached at 601-679-3442 or 601-679-2414, regardless of check-in time. Marine Aviation Training Support Squadron-1 "A" school check-in is a 24-hour operation in Building 201. The MATSS-1 duty officer can be reached at 601-604-1416.
Naval Reservists
Naval reservists assigned to the Naval Operational Support Center are required to muster with their unit mustering petty officer no later than 7 a.m. on the first drill day, or with the NOSC command duty officer if performing drills on a normal workday.
NAS and Tenant Command Personnel
All NAS and tenant command personnel must check in with the Fleet & Family Support Center to schedule a seat to attend Welcome Aboard, an indoctrination program designed to orient personnel to relevant services and requirements of NAS Meridian, the City of Meridian, and Lauderdale County.
