NAS Meridian Homes is available for all eligible enlisted and officer personnel with accompanying families. Call the Navy Family Housing Office, at 601-679-2520, or email the Housing Service Center (HSC) at Meridian.Housing.fct@navy.mil to receive a housing application and supporting documents.
Family Housing
NAS Meridian Housing Service Center (HSC) and Balfour Beatty Communities (Public Private Venture) would like to be your housing of choice! Considering the distance and commute time from most off-base housing, rent, high utility rates, escalating transportation costs, and the proximity to all military support services, NAS Meridian Homes is your best, safest, and most secure housing option. Additionally, the local public schools provide transportation service for all students who attend public schools. All families, regardless of size, will have access to a minimum of three bedrooms. Families that meet the requirements will have access to a four bedroom units. If you choose to live in town but later decide that you prefer to live on base, you must have applied for on base housing within 30-days of initial arrival to be eligible for a government-funded move later.
NAS Meridian has a privatized partner, Balfour Beatty Communities (NAS Meridian Homes). Upon arrival, you should check in with the Housing Service Center (HSC), 718 Gill Street (located in the NAS Meridian Homes), is open Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). The HSC staff will submit your housing application to NAS Meridian Homes and they will be able to answer any of your questions. NAS Meridian Homes will also assign you to your new home.

They have a total of 163 family housing units (61 homes in the Juniper Ridge Neighborhoods; 102 homes in the Pine Crest Neighborhoods).
There is a two-pet limit in base housing (no exotic, wild, or farm animals – only dogs, cats, birds, and fish are permitted). The following dog breeds are considered aggressive and are not permitted: Akita, American Bull Dog, Chow, Doberman, Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Bull Terriers, English Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Presa Canario (Canary Mastiff), Rottweiler, and Wolf Hybrids.
Exceptional Family Member Housing
NAS Meridian Homes does have ADA housing units available, and efforts will be made to give priority for these homes to families with Exceptional Family Members (EFMs). All base housing units are air conditioned and have central heating.

Housing Service Center-(HSC)
The HSC is your first contact for any problems you may encounter such as discrimination complaints, tenant/landlord disputes, or any questions or problems about off-base housing is the HRO. All renters should carry renters insurance against fire, theft and other damages. The property owner's insurance will cover the property but not the renters’ personal property. Transfer coverage after you arrive. We encourage you to use the HOMES.mil website (https://www.homes.mil/homes/DispatchServlet/HomesEntry), to locate suitable and quality housing rentals off the installation.
Single Service Member Housing/Unaccompanied Housing
Permanent Party Residents- This section of Unaccompanied Housing (UH) consists of 57 beds in Building 208, for all Single Service Military Personnel assigned to NAS Meridian and the Tenant Commands.
Student Dorms – NTTC/MATSS-1 Student Dorms consists of 960 total beds, arranged into MODS that house a maximum of 12 students each (3 students maximum per bedroom; 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 1 common area per mod). In addition to general base restrictions, the following are prohibited in NTTC and MATSS-1 dorms: alcohol, lighter fluid (and other HAZMAT), pets, and weapons (including knives with 4"+ blades).
Single Sailors and Marines who are eligible for BAH may live in the NAS Meridian Homes (and may room together to share costs) – application procedures are described above in the Family Housing section. For any UH questions please call 601-679-2616/3105/2125.
