The average monthly utility (electric and natural gas) bill for housing will vary from property to property. A comprehensive brief and tools for house hunting, including maps, sample leases, the military escape clause and condition reports, are provided to all incoming service members and their families.
Housing prices vary greatly depending on the community. Before you consider buying a home, contact the Fleet and Family Support Center for a home-buying workshop, which includes topics such as buying versus renting, closing costs, local market information and more.
Even if the service member has owned other homes, the FFSC and HSC can provide home-buying information that may be unique to this area.
