Army Community Service provides family programs aimed at prevention and education. ACS is open Monday to Friday from 0730 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Information and Referral: Assists with providing information on command and community programs, services and resources. 305-437-2644
Exceptional Family Member Program: A mandatory enrollment program that provides support to families with special needs. 305-437-2645
Family Advocacy Program: Designed to focus on the prevention of child abuse and neglect and spouse abuse. 305-437-2645
Financial Readiness Program: Supports leadership in maintaining financial readiness of service members and families; provides assistance in personal finance, budget planning, debt liquidation and consumer affairs; provides emergency financial assistance for all of the military emergency relief societies. 305-437-2653
Personal Financial Counseling Program: Provides personal financial counseling only to active-duty military and family members of active-duty military to assist with managing finances, resolving financial problems and reaching long-term goals through counseling and individual and group coaching. 305-437-2653
Relocation Readiness: Provides a newcomer orientation for personnel new to the command to include family members; operates a Lending Closet. 305-437-2644/2726
Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program: A program designed to provide an integrated, proactive effort by the Army to end sexual harassment and sexual assault within its ranks. The program employs a concrete program that teaches service members to be alert to serial offender tactics, to intervene to stop incidents and disrupt offenders, and to know where and how to seek help. 305-437-2734
Survivor Outreach Services: A program offered to provide dedicated, comprehensive support to survivors of deceased service members. The program standardizes casualty services and policies across the Army and provides additional staffing at casualty assistance centers, and at Active Component and Reserve Component family programs. 305-437-2178
