If you’ve ever considered taking your education a step further, you should look to your installation for more information and assistance. They can help you decide if receiving an advanced degree is right for you, tell you which local colleges and classes are offered and find out if you’re eligible for tuition assistance. The Voluntary Education Center, or Installation Education Center, is available to help you put together a plan to advance your education.
Military spouses can also choose to engage with an education and career coach through the DoD’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, or SECO. These coaches can assist them in exploring multiple tools, resources and information to reach their educational goals. The Vandenberg Space Force Base Education Center located at 641 Utah Avenue, Bldg. 13640 houses the First Term Airman Center/Career Assistance Advisor, Base, Formal, and Civilian Training, Education Services offices and three on-site colleges.

Allan Hancock College offers general education and a variety of two-year degrees, with campus locations in Santa Maria, Vandenberg SFB, Lompoc, and Santa Ynez.
Purdue Global offers degrees in multiple computer science and cybersecurity fields with campus locations in Vandenberg SFB.
National University offers degrees in Biology and clinical lab science with campus locations in Vandenberg SFB.
University of Maryland Global Campus will offer degrees in business administration and human resource management, studies, and marketing with campus locations in Vandenberg SFB.
