Your Military and Family Support Center provides relocation assistance to help make PCS moves as smooth as possible. Resources include:
Access information about Vandenberg Space Force Base as soon as you are notified of your move; don't wait for your orders. Call your local base Relocation Assistance Program at the Military and Family Readiness Center and find out about the comprehensive relocation services available. If you are not near a facility that can provide relocation support, contact the Vandenberg SFB Relocation Program office.
Military and Family Life Counseling – Our primary goal is to assess and deliver short-term, solution-focused, non-medical counseling for service members, family members and groups. We address issues on stress and anxiety, communication challenges, daily life issues, depression and more. Military and Family Life Consultants located in Building 10122 can be reached by calling 805-606-0039.
The M&FRC now offers complimentary wireless capability, so you can use your laptop anywhere in the facility.

Relocation Assistance
The base Newcomer's Orientation is held monthly at the Pacific Coast Club, normally on the third Tuesday. The M&FRC offers a variety of services to assist you with your permanent change of station. Customer service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at 706 Washington Ave., Building 10122. Call 805-606-0039 or DSN 312-276-0039.
Discovery Resource Center -- Computers with internet access are available, along with printers, resume-writing software, trip-planning software and a fax machine.
Personal and Work Life Services – This provides you with information and education about a variety of lifecycle issues to assist you in developing resilience skills that will assist in navigating a mobile military lifestyle. That includes parenting, healthy relationships and communication skills, among others, to help you strengthen your interpersonal competencies and social relationships.
Employment Assistance -- Assistance for family members seeking employment and volunteer opportunities, along with a variety of resources and workshops, are available.
